Audi K. Syarief

Audi Syarief is a Senior Associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where he advises clients on economic sanctions and export controls matters.

Audi is experienced in assessing civil and criminal enforcement risk, conducting internal investigations, strengthening trade compliance programs, and developing restricted-party screening protocols. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center, where he teaches a class on sanctions and export controls.

Audi previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Timothy J. Kelly of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. He received his law degree from the University of Virginia, where he was an editor of the Virginia Law Review.
